Our Story…
The Beginnings.
Soldiers of Christ Ministries (SOC) was created in 2019 as a vision given to a local family by the Holy Spirit to help facilitate the local San Antonio community with the growing need for food distribution to the vulnerable, elderly, and impoverished during the Covid - 19 pandemic.
Meals were lovingly prepared and packed in a small kitchen and distributed by family and friends to peoples who would otherwise not have been able to acquire food for themselves or have access to a warm cooked meal. With every visit, lives were being touched as the love and Gospel of Jesus Christ was shared over a warm meal.
As time passed the ministry has quickly grown with tremendous fruit being born! What started as a way to create partnerships with local food banks and churches quickly expanded as peoples throughout the local community were being ministered to in the name of Jesus Christ during various times of need.
The Lord Waters!
Soldiers of Christ has now expanded into multiple ministries. Our primary focus is now equipping brothers and sisters in Christ to be the hands and feet of Jesus within their communities and workplaces through chaplain ordination and certification. We also serve our local youth with weekly fun and Spirit-filled family discipleship Bible studies and retreats. As of 2022, we have also now integrated with the former organization The Church at Work (TCAW) as an Emergency Chaplain Response Team that deploys during times of crisis.
We are excited at this new season God has put us on and we appreciate all of your prayers as we head out to share the word of God and serve those around us in our communities! With your help, whether through your donations or by volunteering alongside us, together we can raise up more Chaplains and serve more youth in our communities.
