Come join Chaplain Marcus for a great time of making new friends and fellowshipping with new families! Together we’ll enjoy a warm meal and have our cups spiritually filled as we discuss the teachings of the Gospels and learn the historical and hebraic roots of the Holy Bible. Have your eyes opened as we partake in a biblical Shabbat dinner similar to what Jesus would have. You may even hear the sound of a shofar! During the remainder of our time together children of all ages have fun playing games outdoors and making light-hearted memories.
In Soldiers of Christ Youth and Family Ministry, we know how important it is for children of all ages to learn the word of God. During Bible study children can be fed the truth’s of God’s word; learning and confirming confidently who they are in Jesus Christ!
With the discussion style lead format, older children and teens will especially benefit and learn much from the open and shared dialogue. Adults likewise, will too! During the school year we meet every Thursday from 6:30 - 8:30pm. Click the “Email” button below to get more information.

Shofar Show & Tell

Bill Gabler is the "horn blower", the man who has been blasting his Shofar in the Georgetown Square for the past year! There has been such positive responses that this group was created to keep you up to date on when Bill will be at the Square, and to pray for him, support and encourage him in this Holy Spirit-driven endeavor.
Why does Bill blast the Shofar? It's a Clarion Call to Worship, to acknowledge the God of the Universe, a shout before battle. The Old Testament mentions the Shofar numerous times. The first time is mentioned in Exodus19, the blast of the Shofar emanating from the thick cloud on Mount Sinai made the Israelites tremble in awe. The Shofar was also used to announce the new moon and the Jubilee year.
By sounding the Shofar, it is also a shout of blessing over our town. To take back what the enemy has stolen. To declare VICTORY over our town and to acknowledge God and His Sovereignty which is preeminent in Georgetown and surrounding areas.
Bill has the gift of teaching and shares with children and adults alike the stories of Gideon and Jericho and how the Shofar along with obedience to God, caused the walls to come tumbling down. Bill uses these stories to turn people towards our Creator and His Son, Jesus! It's a magnificent teaching tool and people really seem to enjoy it! He's known as the guy who blows the horn in the Square. But, we know, the meaning goes much much deeper. Join Bill in the Square and be a part of his amazing ministry.
Join Bill and Gerrianne Gabler every Friday from 5:30pm - 7:00pm on the East side of the Historic Georgetown Courthouse in the square to learn the Hebraic roots of the faith coupled with the blowing of the shofar!

Isaiah’s Place serves the community by providing on-ground based equestrian therapy, leadership intern programs for teens and young adults, an active homeschool connections group, and American Sign Language programs.
Established in 2002 as a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation for the deaf and their families, Isaiah’s Place has opened its doors and heart for all. We provide an educational retreat facility for Hope, Renewal, and Restoration focused on enriching the lives of those served by nonprofit organizations including the deaf and underserved population.
Isaiah’s Place stands on 40 acres 30 minutes away from Interstate I-35. We offer a peaceful getaway from the busy city with exceptionally great indoor and outdoor facilities. We offer our facilities for meetings, conferences, and retreats, and accommodations for Pastors, Leaders, and First Response workers.
